This week on Tuesday students went to the brook.  Unfortunately our very rainy Friday stopped us from going again on Friday.  Hopefully we can make it there soon.  Students tried a STEM challenge to build a structure out of rocks as tall as they could. Here are some of their structures:

 During outdoor learning we explored different textures we could find in the field. We discovered a hole used as an animal home, moss in the crook of a tree, a wooly bear caterpillar and more!

 Each day we use our math skills to brainstorm ways to make our number of the day. Here are some of the math expressions students have came up with so far: Ways to Make 6 Ways to Make 10 Ways to Make 11 Ways to Make 17 Ways to Make 12 Ways to Make 13

 We explored our new math tools such as pattern blocks and Keva planks. Here are some the creations we made.
